AgentKafle

v1.0.0

A multi-provider AI assistant and detective system built with support for both local and cloud-based AI models, including Ollama and Google Gemini. The system features runtime provider and model switching, user authentication, persistent chat history, per-user memory, and contextual conversations. It also includes a dedicated Detective AI subsystem for creating and managing investigation cases, organizing evidence, analyzing information, and maintaining case-specific context. All of these capabilities are integrated into a desktop GUI designed to provide a unified interface for everyday AI assistance as well as structured investigative workflows..

Evolving a Unix-like shell built from scratch in C++. Deepening system call interactions (`fork`, `execvp`, `waitpid`), command chaining, and terminal execution handling.

Current Focus Points
  • Implementing I/O redirection (`>`, `<`) and multi-pipe stream processing (`|`)
  • Refining built-in command handlers (`cd`, `exit`, `pwd`) and environment scope management
  • Adding quote parsing (`"..."`, `'...'`) and conditional chaining (`&&`, `||`)

A little context

About

I can’t build a metal suit in a cave like Stark, but I can build something that makes a difference.

How I think about building

I usually start building something because there’s a problem I want to understand or an idea I want to see actually work. I don’t always know exactly how I’m going to build it at the beginning, and honestly, that’s part of what I enjoy. I break things down, try stuff, mess things up, figure out why they broke, and keep going until it starts making sense. I like understanding what’s happening underneath instead of just making something work on the surface. For me, building is as much about figuring things out as it is about the final result.

Psychology

“Ducunt volentem fata, nolentem trahunt.” — Fate leads the willing and drags the unwilling. I’ve always found psychology interesting because people are rarely as simple as they seem. I like thinking about why we make the decisions we do, what shapes the way we see things, and how much of our behaviour is actually within our control. I’m especially drawn to the parts that make you question yourself — your habits, your biases, your motivations, and the stories you tell yourself. Maybe that’s why the idea of choosing your own direction resonates with me: you can either understand yourself and take control of where you’re going, or simply get pulled along by everything around you.
